photographs of some of our dogs at home. we have five actually, but the energetic dogs that they were, they moved a lot, which meant most of the photos were very blurry. good thing i got a few good poses from max and sam.

i was on my way to UP min when i received a forwarded message from a friend based in manila. binomba raw ang glorietta. scenes of bloody roads and dismembered body parts flashed in my mind. 8 people have been declared dead, with more than 70 injured…and some are still in the red. the 8 can easily become 10, 12, 20…or even higher.
nobody knows yet who to blame for the bombing, or what the motive was. all i know is that its goddamn unfair for people to die or get injured just because some asshole thought it would be fun see something explode…or that killing scores of innocent people might finally get them the attention they want.
i hope they get caught. damn it.

i took these pics during a coastal clean up activity of the fraternity and sorority. the place was depressing. i remember a teacher mentioning once that the last place he would immerse himself is in a place like talomo: a coastal community with severe environmental damage and where people are hardly in good shape or health.
trash was everywhere, the coastline, the waters, under their houses. we found used condoms, shit, sanitary napkins and god knows what was in the pile. i stopped looking after we found the used condoms. it was too much. even the playground was filthy and yet kids flocked the place. i guess they didnt have much choice.
i did not post the other photos though. i guess i just wanted to veer away from depressing images…and showcase a little the good shots i got from the place. Read More
